Course Description

Based upon the Project Management Institute’s, A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), this course provides you the foundation, tools, and techniques to effectively manage innovation and technology projects in any organization. You will learn how to work collaboratively to deliver the best possible value to customers through predictable, incremental releases of innovative features, prioritized by necessity and affordability, and evolved iteratively through customer feedback. Also provides an overview of Agile project management, defines key terminology, describes the four agile methodologies, outlines the Agile lifecycle, and explores the primary areas of expertise necessary to manage Agile projects successfully. Learn the proper application of Agile principles and how they can be applied to:

  • scope development
  • requirements analysis
  • planning and schedule development
  • cost estimating

You will explore team building, project governance, managing value, scaling up and contracting, as well as methods for transitioning to Agile.
