Course Description

Introduction and review of Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometric concepts and instructional strategies for teaching geometry. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, logic, and inductive and deductive reasoning will be highlighted while covering such topics as angles, area, volume, polygons, quadrilaterals, parallels, polyhedras, tessellations, circles, similarity, congruence and topology.

For teaching mathematics in middle and high school classrooms.
