Course Description

Effective uses of computer-based technology in teaching and learning, computer software terminology, basic hardware operation, care of computer systems, troubleshooting techniques and methods for integrating educational technology into the curriculum. Topics include: selecting effective software to match curriculum; legal and ethical issues concerning the use of computer-based technology; and creating effective learning environments utilizing technology. Sessions emphasize hands-on use of computer-based technology with selected courseware.
