Course Description

This in-depth course explores how teachers can assure that students with learning disabilities have access to the core curriculum and the same opportunities to succeed as typical learners. You will understand how learning disabilities manifest themselves and learn approaches such as:

  • multi-dimensional instruction
  • backwards planning
  • study skills methods
  • structured peer interaction.

You will also cover aspects of the Universal Design for Learning that benefits all students, regardless of their preferred learning style.
