Course Description

Continuation of part A course in probability and statistics that examines collecting, organizing and summarizing data in order to draw valid conclusions. Topics include estimation and tests of significance; inference for means, population proportion and regression; binomial and geometric distributions; sampling distributions, sample proportions and means. Participants will use computer outputs to explore distributions and relationships to design experiments. A Texas Instrument TI-83 or TI-84 Calculator is optional for the online course.
