Course Description

In this class, you will learn the basic techniques and safe practice of pranayama, the yogic science of breathing. Topics include:

  • The art of correct inhalation and exhalation
  • Relaxation in Savasana (corpse pose)
  • The techniques and effects of Ujjayi Pranayama and Viloma Pranayama from supine to seated positions

Students are required to complete four quarters of this course for a total of 8 units.
