Course Description
How to develop a high-quality project plan, establish quality assurance/quality control guidelines and manage procurement of the resources necessary to complete a high quality project on time and on budget. Focus on developing skills to:
- help ensure quality throughout a project lifecycle
- manage quality and performance planning, control, assurance and improvement
Best practices for project administration, planning and execution, as well as tools commonly used to perform analysis and project evaluation are discussed. Students are also introduced to more complex quality control theories and practices, including Six Sigma, Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Criteria, Kaizen, and lean production principles.
