EDUC 894 - Identifying and Preventing the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children: Statistics and State and Local Resources

Course Description

This training program consists of four modules designed to raise awareness of human trafficking and the commercial sexual exploitation of children. This is Module 4 of 4, and covers the following training areas, teaching the resource family to:

• familiarize themselves with commercial sexual exploitation of children in the Inland Empire
• learn how Riverside County is fighting to end commercial sexual exploitation of children
• become familiar with local, regional, and state resources
• how to keep children safe in our communities

The objectives of the four training modules are to prepare to provide mentoring support and aid to the children and youth in the Resource Family's care.
