Thank you for choosing UCR Extension to fulfill your educational goals. Before you begin your application, please make sure that you meet the program requirements listed below.

Program Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have an average grade of “C” from one of our partner universities
  • Be in their second or placement year of study at one of our partner universities and eligible to undertake the internship portion of their academic program
  • Be recommended by a partner university for an interview for the UCR University Extension certificate program  
  • Have the financial means to pay for the program costs
