Course Description

The global financial environment is dynamic and constantly changing, requiring professionals to master both technical skills and strategic thinking. This course is designed to help students understand how international markets, institutions, and policies shape corporate decision-making. It introduces the structure of the international financial system, exchange rate behavior, and the tools managers use to manage risk and seize opportunities in cross-border finance. Students will also explore how cultural differences, government actions, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence influence financial strategies. By engaging with cases, simulations, and applied exercises, students will strengthen both their analytical and practical skills. By the end of the class, they will be more confident in evaluating international risks, proposing financial solutions, and developing strategies for multinational firms in today’s interconnected global economy.
