Course Description

Aspects of the educational therapist's role are defined, including ethical practices and laws on professional responsibilities. Services of the educational therapist are compared to those of other professionals, and the interface between educational therapy and allied professions is reviewed. Responsibilities of the therapist, which include information gathering, assessment practices, goal setting, and intervention strategies, are also examined.
