Course Description

This is a lower advanced level English class in which you will build upon the listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills introduced in ESL Low and High Intermediate. You will explore complex topics such as:

  • personal and global problems

You will learn and apply new strategies for reading and vocabulary comprehension with authentic texts, use advanced grammar structures in speaking and writing, and write multi-paragraph texts with complex sentences. You will also practice conversational skills such as telling anecdotal stores, interrupting, and turn-taking.
