This course facilitates an understanding of the cloud computing environment with a specific focus on the cloud landscape, architecture and security principles. The course will introduce cloud computing concepts such as provider, customer, partner, storage, networking, scalability, and measured service. The course will describe data discovery and classification techniques, data retention, deletion, digital rights management, privacy of data, non-repudiation, and data event logging. The course will introduce risk management analysis techniques and tools as well as identity and access management (IAM) solutions for the cloud. The course will explain the requirements to manage the physical and logical cloud infrastructure. The course will describe the various legal and regulatory challenges specific to cloud environments.
