Course Description

Environmental Science principles appropriate for introductory college environmental science (AP* level) are reviewed and discussed in terms of how to enhance student understanding and effect high Advanced Placement* Examination performance. The course examines important features of the required curriculum including earth systems and resources, the living world, population, land and water use, energy resources and consumption, pollution and global change.

AP Summer Institute spotlights the latest instructional strategies for teaching Environmental Science. This course will be taught online July 8-11, 2024.
