Survey course introducing the various roles, duties, responsibilities, liabilities, and limitations of a professional fiduciary. Discussions include:

  • conservatorships
  • guardianships
  • case management
  • trust management
  • elder abuse
  • undue influence
  • estate planning issues
  • resources for the elderly
  • hiring practices

You will also explore the process to become a professional fiduciary, and the qualifications required.
