Course Description

A continuation of the principles and practice of Iyengar yoga, you will be led through a deeper exploration and progression of postures which include standing, seated, inverted, back-bending, forward-bending, and restorative poses. The physical and mental benefits of the postures and sequences as they relate to the effects of aging will be discussed, along with concepts of yoga philosophy. You will learn to utilize props and modifications to meet your needs. Intended for those with at least one year of Iyengar yoga experience, or 4 quarters of Beginning Iyengar yoga.
