Course Description

Focuses on creating and managing a high performance workforce, which is the critical component of organizational success. You will examine the current thinking and the impacts on human performance, including:

  • the aging workforce
  • globalization
  • the home-based workforce
  • technology and management of knowledge

You will address ways to achieve performance goals by monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of performance for both individuals and the organization. Measurement tools and techniques will be explored, as well as how to design and deliver performance recognition and rewards. The design and implementation of training programs for adult learners will also be covered and will include job skills, career development, leadership development and team building skills. You will learn how to create an effective and efficient performance support system to achieve optimal organizational and individual performance.
